How much does on-site balancing cost?
The price has two parts: vibration diagnostics (always charged) and balancing (only if it can actually help). We measure first. If balancing is impossible or pointless — worn bearings, a cracked frame, resonance — you pay only for the diagnostics and travel, and you receive a report naming the real cause and what to repair. You never pay full price for work that could not deliver a result.

First 20 km each way included; beyond that 0.60 €/km counted both ways. Further afield? We group visits by region — ask for a quote.

If balancing turns out to be impossible (e.g. the bearings are worn out), you pay only the diagnostics, the report and the travel: + VAT — and you know exactly what to repair.

| Item | Price (+ VAT) |
|---|---|
| Vibration diagnostics with a written report — always, per machine | 300 € |
| Balancing S — up to 15 kW / up to 50 kg | +250 € |
| Balancing M — 15–75 kW / 50–500 kg | +450 € |
| Balancing L — 75–300 kW / 0.5–2 t | +700 € |
| Balancing XL — over 2 t / high-speed | from +1,200 € |
| One or two correction planes | included — the rotor design decides, not the client |
| Weight attachment by your fitter, guided by us | included |
| Weight attachment by our engineer, no welding | +150 € per rotor |
| Weight attachment by our team, welding required | +400 € per rotor (second specialist — a certified welder) |
| Tighter tolerance on request: grade G2.5 | +175 € per rotor |
| Tighter tolerance on request: grade G1.0 | +350 € per rotor |
| Travel | 20 km each way included, then 0.60 €/km counted both ways |
| Daily allowance | 140 €/day (one machine ≈ one day; sites beyond 100 km add 2 travel days; a single machine within 50 km — no allowance at all) |
| Several machines in one visit | each additional machine −20% (from the 2nd), −30% from the 10th |
| Minimum invoice per visit | 500 € — the call-out, sensors and diagnostics take most of a day regardless of machine size |
Why the price is split in two
1. We measure first
On arrival we instrument the machine and run vibration diagnostics. This step is always paid — it is real engineering work and it produces a written report.
2. Balancing only if it helps
If the spectrum shows unbalance, we balance in one or two planes and you pay the size-based rate on top. If it shows worn bearings, looseness or resonance — balancing would be wasted money, so we do not charge for it.
3. You always leave with an answer
Either a balanced machine with a protocol to ISO 21940-11, or a diagnostic report naming the fault and the repair needed. Both outcomes end the guesswork.
