* The upper limit is frequency-dependent: it is set by the ±3 g sensor range and falls as speed rises (about 130 mm/s at 1500 RPM, 66 mm/s at 3000 RPM, 33 mm/s at 6000 RPM). The 80 mm/s figure corresponds to roughly 2500 RPM.
